Essential Short Courses

These are soft skills courses, also known as common or core skills, and focuses on skills such as situational analysis and leadership, communication, leadership and team building, problem solving, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, life, and work experiences and many more.

Unlike hard skills, soft skills are not industry or role-specific, rather skills that relate to personality and behaviour found in different individuals, and different industries.

Learning delivery and certification

Our essential short courses and micro-credentials have options available to individuals, businesses, and organisations. These options can be:

  • – One-to-one online self-paced development with self-paced micro-credentials, and flexible delivery in bite-size chunks

  • – Group based face-to-face essential soft courses via 2-days public program. Largely, this is venue-based with good quality morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. 
  •  
  • – Employer based face-to-face delivery, which is delivered at the employer premises, or outside venue, if preferred by the employer. Duration of learning depends upon requirements of the employer
  •  
  • – Flexible delivery as agreed with individuals, businesses, and organisations.

  • – Certificates and/or badges are issued to individuals. These can be used to apply for formal qualifications.
